I was very upset to find a voice mail message left on my cell phone during work that informed me that my reservation for myself and my sister (who was at that moment driving up from Ohio to join me) was cancelled. We had reserved a night tour, had booked a hotel room near by and had missed the 24... More

We checked in at the main entrance and were greet by a friendly young woman. (I apologize I cannot remember her name) however she was super great and explained some interesting things about the Lockport caves to us before our tour began. Our tour started a bit late which was fine as there were some stragglers rolling in late. Alex... More

We booked this tour last minute for something to do with my niece and nephew before trick or treating. Our expectations were far exceeded. Not only did Mark have incredible information to share about the history but he is obviously very passionate about the area as well. He was great engaging both kids (ages 6 and 10) and adults- my... If you want to see locks and the Erie canal, and walk through a cave that was used for hydropower over 100 years ago, this is your place. Paige was our tour guide and she did a great job. We did not see a lock work, but it was described fairly well, so you have a good idea how it... More

We were staying in Lockport to see Niagara Falls. Was told by a local we should check this out. Nice little excursion for the day. Very informative.

We had a wonderful tour guide that was very knowledgeable. The history of the locks and the men who built them is pretty amazing.

This is a 70-minute walk through Lockport history, ending in a short boat ride through a 200-year old cave. Mark was a knowledgeable guide who made the engineering of Erie Canal locks understandable for everyone. He's a good story-teller, too.

We made the reservations online in the early morning to make sure that our whole group would fit at the same time slot. The guide was very friendly and explained very well about all aspects of the history of the canal and locks. He was also very patient with the kids. The more interesting part was in the water tunnel... More
