On the start of our day long boat trip we took a glass bottom boat and viewed the amazing coral reef in Blue Bay. So far the best coral reef in the Mauritius Island we have been on.

It's quite big bay, blue indeed, sheltered within outher reef. The true beauty lies beneath the surface of the ocean: huge coral garden, a safe haven for many colourful coral fish. Shame that many corals are dead. Worth to snorkel and see up close!

Good beach for kids. Very family oriented. Good place to picnic. Glass bottom boat tours are available to view marine life in the reefs and swim/snorkeling.

Went for a walk on the beach; seems like a cosy residential area next to the beach! And the view of the Bay is fantastic! The pictures speak for themselves!

The agent sold the blue adventure boat ride saying that we will get to spend an hour at the blue bay marine park. Finally, when we reached there, they hardly let us spend 10 min in the water. All the time the guides were asking...More

There are a lot of fish which is beautiful, but the corral is bleached - it made me sad to see this, but it is still worth the trip and to snorkel there.

We drove from Flic en Flac to Blue Bay to enjoy the coral beauty of the Marine Park. Different types of coral at the same place and a wide variety of mesmerizing fish. Snorkelling is a joy here. Those who do not want to enter...More

The Marine park is close to the airport but very far away from most of the hotels. Most taxis charge a hefty sum to drive you here especially when you are staying in the North or North West. Though you could see some good shades...More

I love snorkelling, where permitted. A most interesting and unspoilt colourful area of our lagoons. An interesting fact; past Governors of the island, even id pre-colonial times, were aware of the beauty and made the first moves to preserve this marine park.

The best snorkeling I have had on Mauritius was on the Southeastern Coast of Blue Bay. I had been briefly to the Seychelles and can't speak as well to it. Because of rising water temperatures, coral is dying all over the... More

Certainly you can snorkel from the beach, but about 15m from the beach there' a safety line you can't swim over because of boat traffic. You may arrange a snorkeling trip with a boat in other close beaches where there are... More
