This is a must do try for anyone visiting Mauritius. Blue Bay was amazing and the snorkelling is the best. Go to the Bay and shop around for the best price to go out on a boat. We met a guy who called himself Dodo. He did the trip for 200 rupees which was half the price quoted by others.... More

The snorkling is amazing here. So many different types of fish to see & if snorkling is not your thing there are also glass bottom boats (a lot of which also do snorkling if you want to cool down). Lot of boats so price around as they're all about the same. All the boats we went on had snorkles &... More

We visited a few beaches while on holiday in Mauritius and Blue Bay was the best by far. The swimming area is quite big compared to a lot of the other beaches. There is enough shaded as well as sunny spots for every one. If you want to do some snorkeling there are quite a few good spots to the... More

Visited Blue Bay but be aware that the boat trip prices vary a lot! We were quite lucky with our guy I think. We walked up and down till we found a lesser price and the guy that took us out was very amiable. Told us lots about the islands, the coral and the fish. We had the opportunity to... More

The waters were so clear that we could see the live coral from the boat. The amount of sea life that we spotted in the short time we were there was astounding. A very safe place to experience the underwater wonders of Mauritius.

One of the most beautiful bays I've ever seen. So many shades of blue! Since the bay is protected from fishing you'll find a great variety of fish. If you are lucky, you love even see a mauritian clownfish. The staff on the boats is super friendly and explain the corals and fish.

This was my first trip to Mauritius, and this Bay is just so beautiful. We were able to see it in its full glory- sunshine and a cyclone.
