We drove to Harbes which is a lovely open area with apple and pumpkin picking. Unfortunately when we got there, they said there were no more apples on the trees but we could pay to pick the apples on the ground. That didn't appeal to me so I looked at some of the tables to see whether I could at... More

stopped by midweek to try their wines-must be a madhouse on the weekends w winery & farmstand activities Grace & Jillian are knowledgeable servers. Their no oak 2014 Chardonnay has some funky flavors-wild yeast? The 2014 Syrah is inky w good varietal flavors The 2014 Cab Franc is also well made but still a little young & closed in nose... More

HARBES FARM & ORCHARD 5698 SOUND AVENUE, RIVERHEAD, NY 11901 TBH, I've never heard of this place before until a friend on Facebook checked in couple of weeks ago (we always go around Westchester for apple picking). So this past Saturday, my entire family traveled about an hour and a half to check it out. We absolutely loved the place.... More

Many activities for children and adults alike that include apple picking, a pumpkin patch, hay ride, and a corn maze. They have a variety of games you can play spread around the grounds and many options for food and drinks. The apple cider donuts are a MUST try!

Perfect day for this stop. Live music, pumpkin beer, and fresh apple cider donuts!!! Yum! Also, don't miss the grilled corn and the kettle popcorn.

They have a great location. Could be a win win for them and clients but they are understaffed and totally disorganized. Long waits for food ( cannot bring any in)' water, toilets. ( 45 minutes at one point during the day). Several riding items on the track were broken and no one took them out of the field, the milking... More

We stopped here with a few friends visiting from out of the country. We did the Wizard of Oz maze. It's 2 acre maze, $5 per person. It was fun def worth doing. They also at another location have a 6 acres corn maze.

We took a ride out East to wine country to enjoy the start of Fall. We planned a day of pumpkin picking, lunch and a winery. We stopped at Harbes Farm for pumpkins, local produce and mums. The grounds are beautifully decorated.
