If you’re going for snow tubing, skip this. It is SO lame and really only meant for little kids. Everyone, older kids and adults, were getting stuck on the way down and had to walk themselves down the rest of the way. The include isn’t steep enough to gain momentum going down and it was a total waste of money. Also, the belt that brought everyone up also kept stopping because it couldn’t handle the amount of people on it. Seriously rethink going here if you want to go tubing. We got stuck on our first ride down and just left the place. Definitely not worth $25 a ticket!

Great place to ski locally, very family friendly, and the amount of updates that have been put into the place is incredible.

our whole family planned at trip to come to holiday mountain, all of our kids were so excited to ski the bunny slope. the mountain is under new management and has ruined the family atmosphere. $75 to get a lift ticket for the kids slope and the lift wasn’t even working. everyone has to walk up the hill, but needs to pay for a “lift ticket”. no adults can be on the bunny slope to take photos without paying the $75. no discount for not working lift. and the lady has the audacity to tell us it’s under new ownership and weee the only one complaining about this. our family of 10 left and won’t to be coming back yearly like we have for the past 5 years. so disappointing

We visited on the recommendation from Kartrite for snow tubing. The tubing was a major disappointment for our kids (age 10-16). It was a carpeted chute with snow at the end. Waste of $20 per child plus new snow boots and gloves! Don’t bother unless your kids are tiny and have never tried tubing before.

I was a little uncertain about this place at first -- it was challenging to get ahold of someone on the phone and booking was confusing. There's no online booking, and lessons are hard to book with more than a few days notice. They could certainly improve their reservation and booking system.

All that said, once we got there, everything was very easy and friendly. Our instructors were extremely nice and our kids loved them as well. The people behind the desk went out of their way to help us -- they even held our belongings for us since the lockers were full. The price was much more affordable than other nearby mountains, making it perfect for a first time trip. My kids and I all were skiing after a single lesson. The vibes are very friendly - no elitism of either a financial or a skiier skill type, just people from all walks of life there to enjoy themselves.

Might disappoint an experienced skiier but was great for us. Would return.

Great place to learn to ski or for a day of fun and winter sport. Staff is friendly and helpful. One of the region’s best for family fun for skiers and snowboarders of all levels.

This place is so close and so convenient. Before I found Holiday Mountain, I sat in my car for 5-7 hours before I could ski. When I was told Holiday was less than 2 hours away, I figured I'd give it a shot. And I'm so happy I did.
Great, affordable skiing, so close to home.
Perfect for a day trip with the kids.
