Apple picking & so much more! We grow 50+ kinds of apples plus peaches, nectarines, vegetables, pumpkins, and sweet corn. We make peanut butter, applesauce, apple cider donuts, apple cider, fudge and pies from scratch. Tons of unique products in a friendly, affordable store. Lots of samples too! Tasting Room w/our hard cider, spirits and wines. Monthly dinners w/ Chef Shawn Hubbell. Our U-Pick apple orchard, with kid-friendly trees and the best apples, is open weekends starting Labor Day. Hay wagon rides to our U-Pick pumpkin patch start late September. Founded 1910. Visit us and taste the difference. Open daily all year (except June and part of July!)

Even though May is near the time they close for a few months, it was still a great place. A sweet, old dog greeted us in the driveway. While inside we found wonderful bakery items, cider samples and many other goodies like homemade peanut butter. My husband and I bought half a peach crumb pie and it was superb. Also... More

Hey Dianna, Thanks for posting, so glad you could visit! That was probably Bonnie who you saw, she was no doubt trying to convince you to give her some treats! She has her own fan club, lol. We do close for about 6 weeks, and then re-open with our amazing peaches - so I definitely hope you can make it... More

If you live in this area you too have probably visited Soons. They have been here for ever. All the usual fair, apples, maple syrup, honey, vegetables, pies, cookies, and lets not forget what brings me here several times a season, the Cider. The opened a tasting room for local Hard Ciders which is worth a visit. They have hay... More

Soons puts their Heart and Soul into everything they make. Everything is Fresh and Baked to perfection. The Pies, Fudge Brownies, Cider Donuts, Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Raisin Cookies are the best. They have a wide selection of different salsa's, homemade peanut/cashew butter, fresh produce, just to much to list. Prices are very reasonable, and the Staff is Friendly, Helpful... More

I grew up going to Soons. They are popular and they get very crowded, especially during the Fall. The prices are not great. They have wonderful pies but the price seems to get higher every year. There are much more reasonably priced places in the area.

Jodie, thanks for the four star review! I hope you will reconsider and keep the tradition of visiting us. We are in our 107th year (but we still feel young)! Fall is indeed our busy time of year, it's when day-trippers and locals convene for the joys of apple and pumpkin picking, cider and donuts. This season we'll be implementing... More

We arranged to visit Soon's on a Saturday for a hard cider tasting in their Orchard Hill Cider Mill. Andrew and Donnan were great, answering my email the day before our trip to arrange a private tasting for our party of ten. I'm so glad we did this, as the tasting room was pretty small and they were busy on... More

My husband and I stopped today for an apple pie. The place was extremely crowded (columbus day/ no school) They had several people directing traffic which made it very easy to park. After we purchased our pie...we sat outside and listened to live music...the guy singing was really good!! They also had a pie eating contest going on. My husband... More

My wife and daughter were on a visit to the area for shopping and stopped by Soons for apples. But there was so much more. Before we even go inside, the smell of the donuts baking let you know this was a real farm market. We live in Bergen County NJ and years ago we had similar farms but they... More
