There isn't a requirement for tipping. Our guide Debbie (Debbie's Dare devils) was excellent and it was worth the extra $10 per person for her personal insight and extra time.

They have bus tours at that time. The boat tours are suspended at this time due to the weather. We stayed in a wonderful hotel that was across the street from the border. We did a bus, boat, helicopter tour, but we really loved just walking the tour which was free.

For our tour, Maid of the Mist was a part of and included in the tour price.

Thank you for your question! We do offer pickup for your tour in Buffalo. It is an additional flat $40 per party fee (not per person) for the roundtrip pickup and drop off. Most of the tours that have available Buffalo pickup begin at 11am. Please allow at least an hour prior to the tour start time for your pickup. You will still need to contact our main office 24 hours prior to reconfirm your tour start time, pickup location and pickup time. For the most part, you will get to the the front of the line although sometimes other Gray lines tour buses are also there. With that being said, we did not wait very long (10 minutes max) and Debbie who guides the Gray lines tour in Canada was outstanding!

Yes - you need a passport to get into the Canadian side of the falls.

I have been to both sides. Think the US one is better.
