Very well organised & absolutely a fun tour! It's definitely safe....soo people who are scared of waters have nothing to worry about! It is the highlight of Nigra to me! You are taken on a boat to experience the falls closely. The smell of the...More

The Maid of the Mist is well worth the time and money. We arrived a little after 9 am after walking over the Rainbow Bridge. Buying tickets was effortless. We took in the view and took pictures on the observation tower before descending down and...More

This is the closest you can get to the falls , the sight of the falls from the boat is awesome . No need to book tickets , we can buy it in the park .

Loved this trip, our 14 & 8 yo boys had a blast. Got good and wet and showed a beautiful site that you would have only been able to see from the Canadian side. I recommend this to anyone with children.

Even in mid-July, there was almost no wait to get onto the boat. You just can't appreciate the size and near-horseshoe shape of the Falls, until you're right up next to it on the boat. You'll get plenty wet, although the garbage bag style rain...More

Nothing special but definitely an experience you do once. Tip: stay on the lower level of the boat. You can see fine but at least the roof keeps you from being soaked and your camera more dry. Also you can at least hear the recording...More

We did go to see the falls on a Tuesday afternoon but it was still in the school summer break - we were unsure if it was necessary to book in advance or what the process is when you arrive. We decided to risk it...More

It really is a fantastic experience. The views are fantastic! Except, of course, when you get so close to the Falls you can't see anything because of all the mist. And, that's when its the most fun!

Hello! We are heading there in August. How did you get your $18 tickets? On line? On location? Thanks, Rhonda

it was $18.35 for the ticket at a booth at the park. they had a package for 45ish dollars for a more comprehensive ticket package. you might find a deal on that somewhere on line.

Hi, we plan to be at Niagara falls on afternoon of June 17th. Coming from Chicago the same day, how long do you think we will need to park our car and get on the Maid of the Mist for almost last tours. What time should we plan to reach the falls? Thank You.

From the parking to the entrance of the elevator is a short distance. If you reach Niagara falls in the afternoon make sure that you book your tickets for Maid in the Mist online so that you do not have to stand in line and... More
