This exciting tour outfits you in a hooded raincoat and takes you into a cave and then along a catwalk near the foot of the falls for an up-close, wet and very rewarding view of the thunderous, cascading waters.

My 10 year old son and I went to Cave of the Winds during our trip to Niagara and it was incredible. To feel the force of the falls so close is hard to describe but something we won't soon forget! My son even stood...More

1. Go to the Cave of the Winds 1st before other attractions....line can get long. 2.Save the sandals and wear on The Maid of the Mist. Saves your shoes from getting wet. 3. You can choose to get soaked and I mean to the skin...More

We enjoyed the tour. GO EARLY!! If you wait to long you will wait a long time. They only take a few down the elevator at a time. Glad we did it. Kids loved it.

This is THE most amazing thing I have ever done in any vacation. Who needs Disney?! If I could do it over, I would do the Cave before Maids. Getting the (provided) sandals on first would have been helpful instead getting my tennis shoes soaked...More

We got there late which it turned out was perfect. The falls were lit up and we loved getting completely soaked. The noise and power of the falls was amazing.

This was my favorite thing to do on my visit to Niagara Falls. You really felt the power of the Falls when you reach the "hurricane deck" when you realize the force of the water cascading down the American Falls. This was an experience I...More

Our kids are 9 and 6. They loved it. People need to know that you are not going behind the falls and it is not a "cave" of wind, but it's a beautiful experience. You will get wet, even with the provided rain poncho, but...More

We were right in the falls! You will get wet, so wear your poncho! We took our 6 year old grandson and I firmly believe he will never forget it!!

There really isn't much on the American side but this is a must do (especially on a hot day). Get there as early as you can, the line is longer and you are in the sun while you wait. They give you ponchos and shoes...More

This was our first time visiting this attraction. We visited the Canadian side before, and it was beautiful, but I don't recall anything like this on the Canadian side. I personally did not go beyond the initial platform, but it was still worth being so...More

Early morning (when line opens) or late evenings seemed to be the best time. I had purchased tickets on line before we arrived. Middle of the day was crazy busy. We also went on the Cave of Winds between the 7pm-8pm time.

Hi - I live here and own a BnB - I know the scoop. 1) The Cave of the Winds costs $17 per adult and $14 per child (6-12 yrs). It includes your poncho and sandals and a plastic bag to hold your regular shoes/sneakers. You... More

You can but that's cutting it close. It does take time to go thru some of the more extreme parts like the Hurricane deck.
