A huge expanse of natural beauty, this oldest state park in the U.S. offers biking, fishing and cross-country skiing, and contains plenty of hiking and walking trails, including the Niagara Gorge Trail System, which affords great views of both the falls and the gorge.

The park here is nice and offers fun activities. However, upon entering, there were no signs or maps available to assist us on what was available and where to go.

Seeing is believing. Go here - enough said! What an amazing natural wonder. Take a camera, a large memory stick and snap away. Head to horseshoe falls to get the rainbow

Epic... said enough, it was worth every mile we traveled (all the way from Texas). The maid of the mist and the cave of the winds with hurricane deck are a must to see. The Hard Rock cafe in front of the park is a fancy place to eat but kind of expensive. Overall enjoyed every second there.

Visiting Niagara Falls is a spectacle that everybody would feel almost once a life. And when you are there, be sure that you visit both sides. In my opinion, the city of Niagara Falls NY is not as nice as the city of Niagara Falls ON, but the surroundings and the park of Niagara Falls NY is beautiful, a natural... More

I visited the American and Canadian side, both were great, but I absolutely enjoyed the American side. It was beautiful. You have to pay $10 for parking.

So glad New York decided to keep the Falls more natural than build it up. Wouldn't want to see it any other way.

Americas oldest park and if one has enough time, worth walking across and enjoy different views of the Falls. I chose to walk across and tram service is available at a low cost. Will take one hour to walk across. Those planning just a day's visit, I suggest the following. 1. Cave of the winds. 9 am to 12 noon.... More

Make sure to try the Boat Cruises that'll take you very close to the Falls themselves. They provide plastic coats since water will be splashing every where!

Love this park. It is America's oldest park established in 1885. It's beautiful to walk around and lots to do. We looked at the falls, went to the observation tower, rode the Maid of the Mist and went to the Cave of the Winds. Not enough time to see it all in one day, so allow at least two to... More
