A lovely spot away from the town

The park itself is full of things to do: walking trails, tennis courts, baseball fields, boating on the lake, an exercise trail, children's play areas, booci, and more. The park... read more

Very cute Christmas display. And it's free! So few free things these days. You drive through the park and see all the large displays. We actually drove through the loop a couple times since the kids loved it so much!

As a Vietnam Veteran I am always intrigued by memorials in various cities, this one did not disappoint. The memorial is dedicated to the veterans of all wars. It has the largest national granite monument. It honors both men and women who honorably served in armed services outside of the Washington Beltway. It's free and open all year round and... More

The park itself is full of things to do: walking trails, tennis courts, baseball fields, boating on the lake, an exercise trail, children's play areas, booci, and more. The park is well maintained and there are picnic shelters, and bbqs available. They offer public toilets too. A nice area to see away from the town itself.

Nice to see a light display away from the Falls themselves, but doesn’t seem to be a lot of animation. Traffic is really slow through the park due to horse drawn carriages. Some of the more considerate horse drivers will pull over to let traffic pass, but brutal journey if you have to see all the displays at a walking... More

They had a nice display of Christmas lights and Hyde Park very impressive. It was nighttime and cold but it seems like it would be a nice park in the spring or summer.

You can kayak, run, bike or golf all in one area, far enough away from the tourist attractions to get some peace of mind. We stopped there once a day while visiting.

I hope you end up falling in love with Niagara Falls, move here, and fix up the city around it. I would love to get away for the weekend and pay a decent rate for a hotel. At this point, you will pay the same at a Buffalo/Cheektowaga reputable hotel as you will a disgusting dive if you stay in... More
