We visited the falls on a nice, hot, sunny afternoon in November. As it's dry season, the falls are but a trickle compared to their apparent grandeur in rainy season. We arrived at 12:30 and were the only visitors for about 2 hours until 4...More

From a tourism perspective, the city itself is not particularly noteworthy, but nearby geologic features make this one of the country’s can’t miss destinations. The Cascades de Karfiguéla, also known as the...More

We negotiated price 25000 for a van with two locals, one driver and one lets say guide. There was enough water (it was raining last week, and streets in Banfora was full of mud and "ponds". The cascade is nice, unspoiled, with very few visitors....More

The falls are not of exceptional natural beauty, but a fun place to swim and to watch the locals having fun.
