Probably the only real sandy beach where swimming is safe on Sao Vicente.
Not at all crowded, still windy and for some a rather industrial outlook as it looks over the harbour entrance. Beware the sun is fierce and masked by the 'sea breeze'
One of the most beautiful beaches I've been to. The sand is white and the sea amazingly blue. Great hangout for a lazy beach day. There are 2 good restaurants at this beach from which one has beach beds as well.
