We used the Yellow Line bus on our visit and at €50 for a two day pass it was value for money, as it takes in all the sites and saves on too much leg work during a short stay.

The windmills are lovely great for a picture! But don’t forget to visit GIORAS Pastry Cafe, Agias Paraskevis Myloi. Not far away! It has some very delicious treats and well worth a sample or two!!!

This tour was the highlight of our visit to Athens. Our guide was an archeologist who had a deep knowledge of the Byzantine era and Eastern Orthodox Church. We toured the Byzantine museum and several churches in Athens. We had a 4 hour guided discussion during which Byzantine Athens came alive. We would not hesitate to book a tour with this company again.

Too expensive ! Very basic food. Also the location was not communicated clearly. And photos show another (better) location. Go on your own, there is enough to find in Plaka.

Stunningly beautiful town. Views from windmills to town especially Little Venice picture card quality. Loads of cobbled streets to wander around. Great choice of restaurants and bars.

It's starting to become complicated to visit by tourist bus, they are victims of their success, too many people, the buses are full, you have to fight to get into the buses at the Parthenon, buses are often full at the stops, in these big cities that becomes very difficult.
