Quirky servers, very nice wines

We enjoyed this visit and our server was an absolute hoot. Very knowledgeable and kept us on a "strict" regimen of when to cleanse our palates between tastings.

I love this pet friendly winery. The wine was really good and the service was friendly. There are treats for your pet and part of the proceeds from the Good Karma wine goes to local shelters. Next time I go I'll be bringing my dog.

Kristina, We are so happy you were able to stop in! Our Good Karma donations actually go to the local food banks, another worthy cause, that we have been able to raise over $27,000 for since it begun! We do however, collect donations on behalf of the Yates County Humane Society at our register. We can't wait to see you... More

My wife and I have never been disappointed with a visit to Red Tail Ridge. We always receive a mindful and attentive tasting, with guidance to find something perfect for your taste preferences. We always leave with a half case or more. The facility is LEED certified, which you may find interesting if you know enough about architecture processes.

Our hostess here was so friendly and engaging. She was one of the 2 most knowledgeable servers we encountered that day. We stopped in on a whim and bought a bottle of Gewurtztraminer to take home. We will return!

We had the Red Tail Ridge riesling at the Ports Cafe while there for dinner, and I liked it so much we had to make a special trip here. We had spent the day out and about at the Keuka Wine Trail, and pulled in to this winery about 7 or 8 minutes before closing. A woman came out to... More

Had the option to try three tastings, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. the wine were good examples of what the Finger Lakes has to offer. The winery has a place to sit down and relax and enjoy the view.

Beautiful dry fingerlake wines. Small business. Knowledgeable staff. Especially loved the 2012 Pinot Noir. Gerwarztraminer and Reisling above average too.

What can we say! This wine is some of the best ever! We were there for their Red Dinner and they did not disappoint. We stocked up on the wine to bring back to New Jersey. This area of the finger lakes makes an awesome weekend trip from NJ. Only a 5 hour drive and there are some amazing restaurants... More

Hello, Thank you for your nice review of RTR since we are always trying to make the tastings for our customers as best as it can be! Our current interns are actually from Namibia and from Illinois originally. However, one of our owners did grow up in MN so he shares that knowledge with us. Glad to see the wine... More

While researching our road trip we learnt that the Finger Lakes region was very scenic and known for its viticulture. Then while having dinner at Convivial in Washington I ordered a Riesling called Good Karma and it was quite good so we decided to visit the vineyard. Our tasting was conducted by Sarah who explained the process to us and... More
