Excellent Vidal Blanc and Riesling! Owner or this small vineyard treated us to unfiltered fresh squeezed (30 seconds old) purple grape juice. Spectacular! Shame to turn this into wine. Richard (Owner) very hospitable and informative. Stock up on cases whenever possible. Fun experience. Apparently size...More

Love Love Love the wine here! The guy is so nice that does the tasting. I feel like it is off the beaten path. Those types of places always are the best. I love this place!

OK, the Shawangunk Wine Trail brochure said they open at 11:30 AM. So on this super blustery day, my husband and I waited a few more minutes, looked for signs of life, and braved the wind and ventured to what looked like a garage... no...More

This was our first stop as part of the Shawangunk wreath winery tour. Very didsapointing from the outside and just as didsapointing inside. The older gentlemen who assisted us was not friendly. We left as soon as possible.

We visited here after another winery in the area. Tastings here were $3 each, for 7 wines. They were all pretty standard, and there wasn't anything that stood about this one.

After visiting a nearby winery, we ventured approximately a mile away, (actually a little longer as that a bridge is out and detours are not exactly all that clear). Brimstone's tasting room is rustic, it's label simple..but the wine is....FULL of flavor. Richard was pouring...More

If you want great wine at an affordable price, this is your ticket. It's not a big fancy tasting bar, and the prices reflect that. It has character instead. Places like this, in my experience, tend to be the best. I enjoyed every single taste...More

Don't let the location and dirty steps disturb you. There is good wine to be found here. This is the most affordable winery we were at in the Hudson Valley. No pretense here. It's all about the wine. I'm not a Chardonnay drinker, but I...More

The wine is good, but the winery itself is very small on the second floor of a house. There is nothing but a person and a counter - don't expect any food or fancy stuff.
