Experience New York's Marble Caverns and Petrified Wood
Jun. 2021
Very well-kept trails/stairs. Family-friendly. It was nice to be out in the fresh air for a few hours. My favorite place was down near the water - I think it is at marker 16. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the sights if you want to. I even 'popped' a geode!

Fun Outdoor Date Activity
Mar. 2021
We came here twice during the summer and then again during March. All three experiences were excellent. Well-kept trails, kind staff, and fun activities. Great for a day-time date. We loved snowshoeing; the trails were beautiful and quiet, and it was so nice to be able to rent snowshoes for an affordable price. At the end, they had a little COVID-safe marshmallow roasting set up, and it was great to get warm by a fire—a fun outdoor activity for all ages for sure.

Great Adventure
Feb. 2021 • Couples
My husband and I snowshoes Natural Stone Bridges and Caves for the first time and had a wonderful time. There are multiple trails, we went on the summit trail which brings you to a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. We plan on going back this spring or summer to experience the hike around the waterfalls and other trails!

Beautiful

We visited here with our 9 year old son. Beautiful. Staff was great. Highly recommend. Only downfall was that you have to buy your tickets the day before.

Glad you enjoyed your family visit. During the busy season this summer with Covid restrictions, purchasing your tickets the day before ensured your spots. We did take walk-in visitors for each hour until our quota was met. It was a bit weird actually turning away visitors during those busy times, but besides ensuring we kept our Covid numbers, it made it more enjoyable for everyone not being so crowded. We learned that and other lessons from these unusual times, some of which we will carry over into the future.

Amazing natural wonder and fun place for kids
Mar. 2020
Nice and short hike in Nature to go with kids. The self-guided tour is easy to follow for the nature trail. You can descend into lighted caves and grottos with raging water or tranquil dark pools. Place has some kids activities, picnic tables and gift and snack shop.

Overall fun place for Family.

A relaxing nature hike through a beautiful property on a fall day. What a hidden gem - so glad we planned to go there. It's less than a half hour from North Creek. So much fun - highly recommend!

Great Experience Overall
Oct. 2020
Having visited here 30 years ago with my kids, it was time to go with the grandkids ages 4 and 6. The experience was just as wonderful for them and even better for me. The paths were well laid out and the railings provided improved support and safety. The 1 hour time table to complete the trail was a perfect amount of time for kids. There were reasonable options at the gift shop for a souvenir though popping a geode was a highlight for my little ones.

Needs improvement
Sep. 2020 • Family
I came early September with several family members. We purchased many tickets and it was expensive. When we were waiting at the area for mining, one employee addressed me in a rude way telling me that I could not go to the caveman and I needed to wait for my group’s time. I told the employee that I was just going to take a picture (everyone else in that area was taking pictures and hanging there), and she kept saying that I had to wait outside for my time. I understood that I had to wait for my time to go down and visit the site, however, this was an area full of small activities and it was open to guests before and after the visit of the caves. I was surprised also because there were small vendors there and they definitively want people to look at things there and buy from them. That rude woman ruined the trip for me and my family. My husband asked if we could buy a bag of treasures for my kids to mine and another employee said yes and sold it to him. That person was nice and allowed my kids to go to the area o mining. That’s when we understood that the woman who was rude with me had absolutely no reason to be rude or to tell me to get out of that area. I hope they train that woman and other employees because this is a touristic attraction that has some nice caves but it is not phenomenal enough on its own. It need improvement in costumer service and options for food.

Sorry for your experience, I have passed this info to our staff as we never want anyone to experience anything rude. We have had to implement a number of changes to deal with Covid and we found from experience this summer that the key to having all the changes work is to stick to the changes and not make exceptions. Depending upon the usage of the trail and entrance area we have to limit access of these areas to those returning from the trail. There are no other vendors here, it is all part of one family run operation. The options for food were reduced due to to Covid and we had to cancel a number of other options such as Adventure Tours, Dino Dig, Climbing Walls etc. Please give us another chance sometime in the future and after Covid times.
