Overview
More
Opened late in the 1980's, the Douglaston Salmon Run was developed as a low pressure, catch and release fishing environment to maximize the outdoor experience of every guest. Two and a half miles of private waters fishing offers a world class sports fishing destination with seven nearby lodges available year round for guests. Over the years, the DSR has evolved into a fishing experience for every type of angler, but definitely those who value natural surroundings as much as catching fish. Fly fishermen, casters, and drift boat fishing types come to the DSR for the catch and release, the atmosphere of respectful outdoor sporting, and for the attentive staff who work year round to keep the DSR clean, accessible and a good value.

Always fish at the Douglaston Salmon Run (DSR). Respectful anglers, spirit rejuvenating time walking the river, and friendly staff. Oops, I didn't mention the catching: big and fresh fish that challenge your talents and stamina. A once in a lifetime experience! Yet, close enough to...More

I followed the DSR reports for weeks and came up three times when they said the salmon were running. I think it's all about getting people in their section of the river. Really poor fishing this year. Although others said this was the worst they...More

The Douglaston is a pay to fish section of the salmon river located at the mouth of the river and offers world class fishing. Buy tickets well in advance to secure a fishing pass

I recently travelled to Pulaski on my 1st steelhead fishing trip. I spent 4 days fishing local streams without success. I was reluctant to pay the $50, and that's not a typo, for a one day visit to DSR. Also, all fish caught must be...More
