The lilac festival is a great time to visit highland park. The landscaping is beautiful and the trails are well paved. It is a lot of hill to climb up and around though.

We loved exploring here on a beautiful August day. Enjoyed walking through the grounds and visiting inside as well. Learned a lot in the process. This is a spot to enjoy in every season of the year for an entirely different experience.

Highland park offers a very beautiful walk that is very accessible. It's not strenuous, but a peaceful walk through a beautiful Rochester area.
