I always go every year when the zoo holds their summer events like Zoo Brew. It's a nice way to enjoy the zoo without all the children.

I have visited this zoo since I was a young kid and they have done a lot to improve and upgrade while maintaining the nostalgia. This is a good time for kids-especially little ones. No real thrills or extras- just lots of viewing spots of...More

Anyone who knows about elephants know how much room they require. Why the zoo brought more elephants into the enclosure is beyond me. If it is to expose people to this magnificent animal, the two we had were enough, actually one more than enough. Animal...More

I have always loved going to the zoo, ever since I was a kid. That was something that I looked forward to. This particular zoo appears to keep its animals well spaced, well fed, and well cleaned. There's a combination of indoor and outdoor exhibits...More

My husband and I visited the Zoo on a family trip to Rochester. This is a slightly above average small city zoo with buildings and display from many different eras. The original building (which is OLD) still houses some primates. When I was a child...More

We take out-of-town visitors here frequently. Adults and kids alike enjoy it. The exhibits are interesting, and the zoo is easy to get around and see--it's a nice size for a half day adventure.

Went with two 12 year olds and a 10 year old. We liked that the whole place is one loop, and it was easy to see all the exhibits. I think we stayed about 90 minutes to 2 hours. Sea Lions were active and we...More

Depends on the time of year. This time, it is $12 for an adult, and was $9 for my daughter who is 5. They have a website where they list the pricing and the dates. It's open year round.

Hi, it depends on interest (and weather), eg longer stay at seal / polar bear underground observatory on a hot day or Safari bus observation deck on a cool day. Half day is a good length, even if you don't see everything... More
