The Strong Museum is just for children- even though it is heavily geared towards them. There are several items collected by Mrs Strong from her travels that are fascinating to the older person. But- the museum is definitely a must stop for children! Hands on...visual....museum of play!

A group of friends went to one of the Happiest Hours when they had the matchbox car exhibit. It was such a blast and we got to check out all of the renovations that had been done since we were there the last time. Marshall's Bar and Grill catered the event that time and Roc Brewing provided the craft beer.... More

Lots of hands on play and fun activities for different ages (my boys are 4 and 6). We spent 4 hours here and could have stayed longer. It's expensive, but with all the time you can spend there and still not see the whole place, it's worth it!

Took my great nieces and their mom and dad to The Strong. They commented that they had not been to a nicer kids play and learn place. So many things to try and experience. Didn't have enough time as they had to leave on a jet plane home. Great price for the experience. Many learning options always there but then... More

Rainy afternoon, my friends and I thought we would check out this museum because we haven't been there in years. What a surprise. It was like reliving my childrens childhood and mine! I would recommend this for a fun afternoon.

A huge array of highlights, including the Toy Museum Hall of Fame (for all ages), the Pinball section and lots of great interactive exhibits for the kids, including a "working" Wegmans Grocery Store!

I went to the Museum of Play with my 17 yo son and had a great time. We both regressed to 5 yo. We competed in the Star Wars video game, played pinball, got photo ops at Sesame Street, and even rode the merry-go-round.

Our group aging from 6 monrhs to 70, found nothing but fun. The littles enjoyed Wegmans shopping, Sesame Street, train rides, the post office, making music, assembling puzzles, and on and on. The olders enjoyed the arcade games especially. Three hours was not enough time. Will return on a cold winter's day for another day of just fun!!

My granddaughter, age 7, said "This is a fun museum, not boring like other museums." The kids get to DO things, not just look at things. They will love shopping with their shopping carts at a miniature Wegmans, and of course like the miniature Sesame Street set.

We weren't sure what mix of kid versus adult interest this would have. We went with our friends and their 16-month-old. It was a bit too old for the kid and there wasn't a whole lot for the adults (some displays). There are tons of fun activities for kids who are about 3 to 12 or 13, though. It's a... More
