Great place to take a walk or bike ride especially if you like water. Beautiful views of the Genesee River and the Erie/Barge Canal as it crosses the Genesee River. Park is the work of Frederick Law Olmstead. Be sure to take the bridges that...More

Beautiful bucolic park in the City. Many a family reunion and picnic can be enjoyed here, just be wary of the few people trolling for nefarious activities that should find another venue for their predilections.

This Park is large beautifully manicured with old tall trees, Genesee river and Canal and bikeways runs though it. With lots of parking spaces, large pavilions, it is excellent for family picnics and long walks, reminds us of old Central Park! Highly recommended.

Not a good area of the city. I think they are trying to clean up around the park. Do not go at night!

Beautiful park designed by Olmstead, lovely in the fall. The large specimen trees are one of a kind. Erie canal views. A must see.

A Frederick Law Olmstead designed park right near U of R and Strong Hospital. The parks stretches over the expressway as well. Great bridges that take you over the Genesee and the Canal.

Really not much to say about this park. Nothing outstanding other than its size. A good place to walk about and maybe have a picnic.
