A winery located on the slopes of Cayuga Lake; the location plays a vital role in creating the best micro-climate for the Knapp vineyards.     very enjoyable experience.
    Enjoyed the wine tasting experience. The tasting was indoors but the tasting area is very large so plenty of social distancing. Karen our server was very nice. You got to choose a flight of 5 wines plus they gave you their featured wine and then you pick a bonus one for free which included some spirit selections. We chose and bought the Limoncello. You also got a small cup of cheese. The cost was $9, Thought that was very fair. You could also pick additional ones to try for a $1 each It was nice that there were many choices because other wineries were more rigid. They are a winery that got it right even with all the new COVID regulations. Nice job.

    Pasta red!
    I knew some of their wines and I decided to stop by for a tasting. I had a coupon from my b&b and they also have me 10% off my overall purchase. My host was very competent and kind, and they all did everything to make me feel safe and comfortable. I do love some of their wines.... and I would recommend them if you are looking for a nice place to learn a little bit about wines. There are many wineries around, but I will go back to this one!

    enjoyablr wine tasting and meal
    The tasting was a great value. The host (Matt) was extremely knowledgeable and we came away with a good discount on a case. We finished the visit with lunch at the restaurant. The server was excellent and the food was fresh, upscale and delicious.

Great ending to the wine tour

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Knapp winery. Our server Kevin was awesome. He guided us in picking wine and spirt selections. Very informative and personable! Thanks Kevin!

We had a delightful time here. The young man who assisted us w our tasting was adorable !! We were shocked to hear he only started 5 shifts ago Bc he knew so much about the wines !!! I hope the owners are reading Bc this kid is gonna be one of your best assets other then your amazing wine. For real the best wines we tasted all weekend. So smooth. The bread and cheese sampling was such a nice touch. Prices are very reasonable. Cute atmosphere. Very different from the others. I was originally bummed no lake view but once the started tasting i forgot about that. For me the tasting here was one of the highlights of my weekend.

Bring back the popcorn

Was so excited to return to Knapp again with our group of 10. Was new for us on our annual trip last year. Shari was great. The wine was delicious. One recommendation: bring back the popcorn, please!!!!

Limoncello is Fabulous!

This was the 4th stop on the Holiday Shopping Spree for our group of 4.
What a beautiful place. The white tablecloths just add an elegance to the place. Everything was decorated nicely for the holidays. We had delicious Hot Honey Cornbread with Cranberry BBQ Pulled Pork as our food pairing. We had a list of wines-and could choose 3 in addition to our wine pairing.
The Limoncello was awesome-and I bought a bottle to take home.

Wonderful experience

Went on a wine tour with friends and made this one of our stops. The wine tasting was lovely and the staff was great! Looking forward to our next visit!

We stopped in for a tasting of their wines. along with the bottles on the serving bar was a cat. The server fondled the cat before serving us and then after each pore fondled more. After three of six we paid and left. Very unsanitary.

Knapp Winery - an excellent experience!!

We visit as part of a neighborhood travel club trip and it was our best excursion - ever - to a winery to date!!! Every wine we tasted was delicious ( especially the Meritage and dry Chardonnay) - the experience was excellent, and the quality of the wine and tasting was above expectations! They made each of feel that we were valued customers. Kudos to the staff and the winery!! Thank you Knapp Winery!!!

Wonderful atmosphere. Sitting at tables for your wine tasting makes it much more relaxing. Multiple selection of taste treats to clear your palette between wine types.
Tried there cucumber vodka, very tasty.

Great tasting experience

This was one of the best wineries that we have visited, and we have been to more than fifty in four states. The server, Alicia, was attentive and helpful, providing information about each wine we tried and offering good recommendations. The tasting ($12 for six pours, plus a bonus pour) came with popcorn, local cheese, and a slightly-spicy dipping sauce. Everything was delicious! The pours were generous, and we could choose any six wines from a selection of more than two dozen wines and some additional beverages.

Every wine was deeply flavorful and approachable with a well-developed, mature taste. All of the wines were tasted were delicious. In particular, we enjoyed the Seyval Blanc, Cayuga White, Pasta Red blend, and Chardonnay (concrete-aged, not oaked) wines. We had difficulty choosing which ones to purchase and ended up going home with eight bottles. Most of the wines were $18-$25 per bottle, with the sweet dessert wines coming in around $15.

One of the nicest aspects of this tasting was the fact that we were seated at our own table in a large-tasting room. We were able to take notes and did not feel rushed or pressured.
