My wife and I were attracted to Playland in Rye due to its inclusion in the Tom Hanks film Big. The park is slightly run-down and could do with a paint up. It does however provide a wonderful experience for small children, judging by the...More

ENjoy a small attraction park that feels old fashioned and not overwhelming. Concerts on Sunday no many things for little people. The Ferris wheel gives a Great view.

Noisy, cheesy . A has been . Kids want water parks, or stay at home to play games. Teens consider it a baby park compared to,great adventure or brown stone, or splash splash . A dinasour. Like Palisades park.

We read about this place online and since we were staying near by we went to check it out. People were still all over the beach with their dogs. Kids running around. I am sure it's really busy in the summer season.

Playland is a wonderful place. It's a clean, safe and friendly small amusement park on Long Island Sound. There is a beach and boardwalk as well. Very family friendly with a Kiddy section.

There is a sign, but definitely check the bus schedule before you go. I have gone before and had to take a cab because the bus has funny hours on certain days. Coming back from the park is usually ok.. There is a bus... More

If I remember correctly it was $6 and an additional $4 to enter the pool area for Playland Beach. Make sure you don't go the other one, Town of Rye Beach Park. That one is more expensive and very rocky. I tried that one... More
