The theater is located along the beautiful wharf in Sag Harbor.Every fall Bay Street Theater performs Literature Live based on classic literature, previous performances were Of Mice and Men, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Diary of Anne Frank. The theater is small and intimate so you are a part of the performance. This years performance of Scarlet Letter was intimate,... More

This theater often has interesting plays. Located right near the water at the end of Main Street. You can park in the streets nearby. Ticket prices are reasonable and the performances are usually very good.

My first, but not last, visit to Bay Street Theatre was very enjoyable. The production of My Fair Lady was excellent. The staging and performances were all outstanding and I don't think there is a bad seat in this intimate theatre. Will definitely return.

Broadway caliber production. No bad seats. This show was extended until 9/4. Great classical musical by Lerner and Lowe in an intimate setting. See it while you can

I have always noticed the unassuming Bay Street Theatre and finally went, to see this summer's performance of My Fair Lady. What a great experience from start to finish. The lady who helped me get our tickets was the friendliest and most helpful, the theater itself was very intimate with great acoustics, and the performance was amazing with stellar actors.... More

Bay Street Theater delivers Broadway level performances in an intimate setting where every seat is a good seat. Buy a glass of wine at the bar and bring it into the theater. We saw My Fair Lady. It was well acted, the musical numbers resoundingly wonderful. The staging was ingenious. The actors earned a standing ovation! If you visit the... More

We were stuffed when we went to the show. The theater is charming and there are no bad seats, just creaky floors!!! Despite the announcements to use the top exits during the shows, several people left from the main level during the show. The show was 90 mins - no intermission. Wish it had been 65-70 mins tops. It would... More

The Bay Street Theater is where locals and tourists meet if they love theater. Bay Street has a long history of excellence: great plays, some premiers, great playwrights, some, many of them locals, a discerning audience. The theater fills up quickly when the stars of excellence line up. When the directors try to please an imaginary public with too many... More

Jonathan Tolins new dramatic comedy "The Forgotten Woman" is cozy, funny and at times very heated. It concerns a talented, plump, married opera soprano on the verge of stardom or burnout with her entourage of manager, coach/husband and newspaper interviewer. The cast, director, set/lighting/costume designers are all experienced NYC pros making this play sparkle. Show runs through June 19. Comedian... More
