This famed 350-acre racetrack features thoroughbred horseracing during its six-week season from late July through early September. Though one of the sport's premier events, the races often take second place to people-watching.

Sunday combination breakfast/lunch Buffet is the best. Relaxing way to enjoy harness racing. Always come out a few $ ahead. Know nothing about harness racing, or who is racing, just a different and fun way to be entertained.

We hit several race tracks each year, but this track is the highlight. No long lines to bet and never shut out by post time.

As a reward for retiring, I made the trip to this historic race track, and it was almost all that I expected... but it still left a little bit to be desired. Pluses were the vast picnic areas, courteous employees, free parking and a reasonable...More

First time at the Saratoga Horse Track. We went with friends and had a great time. We were able to park very close to the entrance - worth the $10.00. We brought in a cooler with our lunch and refreshments - that is a great...More

First I'll just say that I wish you luck with that. The gates will open at like 730am for the "picnic table dash" so I'd suggest you get there before then. I know people that will line up at the gate at 530am.
