The water is usually to polluted to swim. Very cold. Rude people. And nothing to do in the area, unless you like to deal with drunks fighting.

Despite the flood stage of our area this year the beach has survived. It is a lovely place to spend the day.

The point park is a nice place to stop and walk out to the light house or spend a short afternoon. There isn't much space and it isn't very well maintained. It normally filled with fishermen, but does have some great views.
