Follow that road all the way to the end and you will find an amazing place. You can walk out the ocean through huge dunes, you can fish in different areas, watch an awesome sunset or just be alone with your thoughts. Very good place to find one's self.

This park is great for bringing your RV and enjoying the hamptons and fishing. Every time I go I wonder why it is not totally packed.

We were staying up at the sound with are RV and didn't like the water. Looking for a place that actually allows visitors was hard enough, never mind an RV. This place was perfect. $25 to park but that was expected. Nice beach, a little crowded, again expected. Lots of seaweed but the tide was going out. Going back today!

Shinnecock is a fantastic spot to surf fish. For blue and striped bass fishing the inlet off the rocks early morning is almost a guarantee to go home with fish. You don't even need bait! 2-3 oz silver metal any brand.

This is by far the best beach on Long Island. Excellent for those with 4x4 vehicles to access the beach!

I have a motorhome that can't use the camp spots, no 4 wheel drive. However, it is a lovely place to drive out to and dump the RV tanks! They are very sweet there and you can enjoy a beautiful view while doing the dirty work.

This is the place to go if you have a vehicle that can drive on the sand. You can pull right up to the water's edge and decamp onto some of the best white sand and surf in all the Hamptons. Crystal clear water, great boogie boarding, body surfing and swimming. No lifeguards, though, and always watch for rip currents!

Flanking the eastern border of the Shinnecock Inlet where it meets the Atlantic Ocean, this rugged, undeveloped barrier beach park includes both ocean and bay beach recreation areas. Shinnecock is a favorite spot for striped bass fishing. Off-road recreational vehicles may drive on the outer (ocean) beach. 100 campsites on the outer beach are available to self-contained campers with a... More

The beach is beautiful, camped on it. Watch out for Security named Marty, she almost ruined our vacation with her NASTY demeanor.
