A North Fork Favorite
Jan. 2020
A beautiful setting that my daughter chose for her wedding this coming Summer. What a nice vineyard to find on the North Fork. Family run and family friendly. Small but intimate tasting room. After our tastings, I always buy bottles to enjoy at home.

Family Vineyard, Beautiful Unique Setting, Nice Wine
Sep. 2019
We have visited the wineries in North Fork the last couple of years and this is one of our favorites. We arrived early and spent some time talking with one of the owners. I have to say, she was a pleasure to spend time with and get a feel for the vineyard. Small in comparison to others but very pretty setting. Easy going, you can bring a picnic and all they ask is that you clean up after yourself. Fairly priced wine and it was very good. We bought a couple of bottles to bring home. If you are looking for a low key vineyard where you can sit and enjoy the day, friends, family and wine, this is the place.

Off the beaten path

A perfect place to sit, chat, drink good wines and pass the time. Small intimate tasting room. Great family owned winery that is a hidden gem. Sit inside, on the deck and tables or walk the grounds. They have one of the last remaining ice houses in its original location. Have been here for tastings and as the location for a wedding. Enjoy!

Good wines and friendly people at this tiny vineyard and winery. Very helpful owners guiding us through a tasting of their wines. This was our favorite NOFO vineyard.

Tiny but great wine

The winery was tiny and literally in an old chicken coop, but the wine was fantastic. I loved the steel barreled Chardonnay. On a prettier day I’m sure it would have been nice to sit outside and enjoy the property.

Truly wonderful place. The four of us had started at another vineyard. The setting of that establishment was stellar but the attitude unwelcoming. This vineyard rustic with ducks and chickens running about. The attitude here completely opposite of the other establishment. The wine was also wonderful. We had lunch under the trees with a bottle we purchased. We will visit again.

Beautiful Vineyard

Beautiful setting and good NY state wines. Irene the server was very friendly and informative. The vineyard runs to the bay. Nice collection of barnyard birds. Could have sat there all day. We will next time...you can bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a glass of wine or bottle with friends.

Six star winery!

Visited on a recent classy bachelorette weekend. It was the third and final stop on our Long Island wine tour. As a group of 10, we had reservations and were immediately funneled into the back room (“the cat room”). It was a cozy tasting spot - it was quite full of people. Definitely try to make reservations for groups larger than 4 people. The building was charming and rustic - it seemed like very few changes had been made since the late 1800s. Roz, one of the owners, took care of us and did a great job explaining the wines and the process of making each wine. It had a very homey vibe - Roz and her daughter were very welcoming and made us feel at home. She was knowledgeable about the wine making process. We got four glasses with a tasting flight but decided to share a bottle of wine after our tasting and hang out. We went outside to take pictures afterwards and Roz’s daughter came and graciously offered to take the photos for us. After saying hello to many chickens, we headed out. There is a bathroom on site but it was a porta potty. This was the cheapest of all the wineries we visited - only $12 for a tasting, and the prices of the bottles was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place for its welcoming, cozy, quaint atmosphere and wonderful staff.

A hidden gem you don't want to miss
Mar. 2018
This is one of the oldest, if not the oldest working family-run farm on the island. While looks can be deceiving, this is one vineyard you don't want to miss. The tasting room is in a converted shed with a wood stove and is very cozy. The owner's daughter told us about the farm, the wines, and provided the tastings as chickens clucked away nearby. This is one place you don't want to miss. We bought several bottles and are enjoying them. We would go back again.

Cheese and wine pairing

Everything I was hoping for in a winery. To me, it's more about getting away from life, stress, nassau county and the daily grind. Was looking for a relaxing, rustic, non- commercialized place where people were laid back and chill. I Iike the mother-daughter combo, and the fact that the farm/winery is run by a total of 5 people who probably, more than likely, pour their heart and soul into their product.
Cant wait to return when the weather gets nice, to wander the property, see the farm animals, eat some cheese and food we bring in, drink some wine, while chilling and looking at the water.
For me and my wife, we will hopefully make this our go to, as everyone else I know speaks about the other large, commecialized wineries, which is cool, I will stay with thefamily owned, self sustaining farm. :-)
