This is a perfect place for spending a couple of days when cruising the Erie Canal. Quiet town with all the necessary amenities within walking distance from the berth. The museum is a plus.

This is a cute little museum next to the Erie canal and attached to the canal pathway, easy to get to by car, walking or boat. Plenty of public parking. There are plenty of maps and informational brochures

A great place to visit if you are interested in canal history. There are helpful volunteers that can answer your questions. It is a great spot if you are a boater on the canal as it has bathrooms and showers.
