Ski or snowshoe with us and explore one of the Catskill Mountain's most beautiful winter wonderlands. Catch a glimpse of timid woodland creatures on hemlock shaded-trails in the pine-scented forest. Mountain Trails Cross Country Ski Center is...more
On 3/10/18, with lots of fresh powder, how disappointing to encounter sub par grooming on all trails used. On occasion there were vestiges of corduroy, and once even vestiges of tracks on a lone trail.
Snow shoers are free to roam, damaging what ever slight...More
Very nice wooded family run cross country ski resort outside Tannersville , wooded beginner intermediate and some advanced trails well groomed. Staff could not have been nicer. Comfortable lodge with soup hot dogs and snacks. Visited after a good snowfall.
We tried the XC trails on Sunday morning following a Friday storm. Most trails seemed not to have been groomed since Saturday and the trail conditions were mostly mediocre despite the new snow. That said, the woods were lovely and the trails numerous enough that...More

My husband and I are complete and utter city-dwellers and decided to be outdoorsy and try cross country skiing!
Since it was our very first time, we were able to rent all equipment needed as well as take a much-needed lesson. It was so great!...More
This is a decent place for new skiers, after a fresh snow when trail conditions are good. If you are a very experienced skier, want larger facilities or more of a lodge, go to one of the larger ski centers or resorts further upstate or...More
