I used to love to go to this casino. Today we went back for the first time in a while, and went to eat lunch and gamble alittle. The lunch at the emerald restaurant was ok. After eating lunch I went to gamble on the slot machines. I got a cup of hot coffee and proceeded to play slots. Ater spending $20, i took a break for a second to sip my cup of coffee. Within a second a security guard came over and told me to pull my mast up. As i was telling him that i was drinking my coffee,, he threw a straw down on the machine and said i have to drink my coffee with a straw under my mask. I told him i dont think im drinking my hot coffee with a straw, then he said its casino policy. i said well im not burning my throat with hot coffee, and that i guess i wont be gambling anymore. I then got up to leave, and wait for my wife to purchase some items at the general store. I saw some man that was checking id's and told him about the incident, and he said he would get a supervisor. About 10 min later my wife was done and we left, on the way out i saw that man, and told him have a nice day, all he said was , ill make sure ill tell them, i told him whatever and left your place. Remember this. I dont need your place, you need me, im the one that is spending money at your place. You piss me off, ill just spend my money elsewhere.

Jesus this place has gone downhill. Three or four years ago this place was one of the best casinos in the state. Then they stopped offering comps for stuff, their selection of slot machines got worse and their staff became less friendly. Even their food wasn't all that great the last time I was there. Eventually their weekly offers got so bad I just stopped going there. This place just isn't worth the drive anymore.

This is more of a frustrating post, more so than shaming Turning Stone/YBR/Point Place. I have been a loyal spender of paychecks in these establishments for a while and have at times, had a few decent wins but it seems like since they reopened after being shut down for covid-19, it's literally dumping money with no return. I'll be the first to acknowledge that slot machines are rarely in favor of the player but I've lost $1000 multiple times without so much as a ring of a bell for any return. I always assume that something would hit to at least make it interesting but as of late, nothing. Which is more of a shame than anything. I only gamble what I can consciously afford to lose but some sort of decent return would be nice. Again, I realize the odds are forever stacked against the player but being at a sapphire level and losing constantly feels like my card is flagged to just not win. Enough venting for now.

Should not take away offers from guests who have been going to Turning Stone since it opened! I have been going to Turning Stone since it opened, and recently, they have taken alot of the perks of going, away, along with lower freeplays. Not worth the trip anymore.
