Great ski day trip, especially great for young kids/beginners

Fab slope-side open air Crepe deck for lunch, supremely friendly staff, not a huge resort but enough for a day and a really lovely location. Solid number of green vs black runs... read more

My 8-year old son fell off the chair lift yesterday as we were getting ready to ski... From a height of about 6 or 8 feet. The chair had not been tipped for us and I could not pull him up on to the seat. The Mount Peter employees offered to check him out. He was not hurt as far... More

I took my three children, ages 3, 4 and 6, who were first time skiers. The two younger ones had a great time in Pete's Pals. The price was a bit high, but well worth it. The instructors were great with them. They only were taken on the magic carpet twice, but enjoyed the beginning play experience. After the class,... More

Extremely friendly staff, they are very helpful at all the lifts. Rental shops are okay, run in by teenagers for part time working, so don't expect too much from them. Good and affordable food provided, good sitting and resting area too. They have man made snow, so slopes are maintained quite well.

The mountain is perfect for those just starting out or are in need of some brush up before heading to a bigger mountain. The prices are high for a mountain of this size, but the terrain park (if that's your thing) is decent for a small mountain and the staff is friendly. Definitely worth a look if you want to... More

I grew up in Warwick and learned to ski at Mt Peter 30 years ago, so this is a sad review for me. It was a cute little place back then, but has changed owners and become just AWFUL. There is nothing streamlined about the arrival process, or even clearly marked on the different buildings, and waiting hours on lines... More

I took my kids to NY to see snow for the first time (they were born and raised in South Florida). They went snow tubing on Mount Peter and had a BLAST!!!!!! We purchased snow tubing tickets from 11am to 1pm. It was sell organized (a bit crowded) but great fun for the entire family.

Maybe other wekends are better but MLK Monday was a disaster! We went there because of the free lessons and what a joke that was!! I think I counted almost 40 young kids in the ski area for a noon lesson with 2 instructors! And the snowboard instructor had 11 who had NEVER snowboarded before! He was a Very nice... More

I'll start by saying that we visited on the busiest weekend of the year. That said, we were there at 8 am and it still took us two hours to get our rentals because the payment line was so long and there were so many people in the actual equipment area. Then they lost one of our contracts and only... More

I was peeved. We paid for four full price tickets since they told us the kids could ride with us. My kids, ages 3 and 4 were petrified and couldn't even make it down the hill, one time. Why didn't they tell me that a) kids ride in front of u on a 2 person tube which means my kids... More
