Spent a lovely weekend in the Hamptons with friends. The Parrish was a highlight: beautiful modern, barn-like design; a small jewel like permanent collection, and a knock-out Clifford Ross exhibition that is guaranteed to WOW! Works are well lit, gift shop is interesting, surrounding landscaping...More

Loved our visit here! Lovely building and ample parking. We spent a quiet hour or so enjoying our afternoon here. It wasn't busy and the collection was interesting. I've heard the have yoga classes here--would love to try it!

A wow place. Unique setting with meadows on both sides. Lots of free parking. Mixed media art. The most interesting was a huge screen with moving lights.

We visited the Parrish to see the Herzog and de Meuron architectural masterpiece and were greatly impressed with everything about it--the sensitive siting, understated and eloquent majestic presence amidst meadows of Rudbeckia. The long corrugated metal roof atop concrete walls punctuated with well placed full...More

Went here on a rainy weekday while out in the Hamptons. Only $12 admission, so I can't complain much. Supposedly they have quite a collection. But not much to look at when I visited. Where were the Pollacks and DeKoonings? They apparently have several of...More

The Parrish museum was an interesting example of modern art but having visited MOMA in Manhattan a few days earlier maybe we were spoilt and too high expectations. It was serene and interesting to wander through but only to fill in a hour or so.
