Great trail! Some really fun wineries on this trail and of the course the sites are just as amazing! Go it safely and have a dd, take a bus, a pregnant friend, whatever you need.

I live near Cayuga Lake. I like Upstate NY wine. .. but I really love Seneca wine trail. Give it a try. Remember wine makes a great gift.

That is a great question, and there is no universally accurate answer: time of year, day of the week you're visiting, and a host of other factors play into this. Probably 30-45 minutes per winery is a good estimate. Visit... More

We went up the east side and down the west. I agree west side is a little more scenic. We ate at Ventosa Winery along the north west side of the lake right outside of Geneva. It was reasonably priced. The food was wonderful... More
