Everything was fun and good! I have been on the trail many times and even worked at a winery in Rock Stream.

This is a fun opportunity to explore the local wines and learn about the area. People are friendly and most tastings are very inexpensive.

While liquor stores may offer tastings of select wines, there's nothing better than visiting the producers yourself and tasting all they offer! There's so much to choose from, you'll surely find a new favorite every time you visit. Thanks for taking the time to share about your experience, hope to see you again soon! More

Never went on a wine trail or wine tasting. Many different places to choose from. Pretty good for our first trip. Will be back to try more places. My wife, who isn't a wine enthusiast found something to enjoy at the Earle Estates Meadery.

I've never been a huge fan of NY wines from the Finger Lakes region. However, the trail with maps, signage and welcoming hosts was a great experience. State route 14 is the west trail...best grouping of wineries 10 to 15 miles up from Watkins Glen. 414 is the east side and offers a few breezes in the mix of ecceletic... More

As with most wine trails, it has its good and bad. Do your research in advance or you will be overwhelmed with the choices. There are also some very good breweries on this lake to go along with the excellent wineries, so plan accordingly. Oh yes, there are also two distilleries to choose from. We stay in Watkins Glen since... More

Being the largest Finger Lake, Seneca boasts the largest number of wineries in the area and it certainly can be difficult at times to know where to go! Thanks for taking your time to share your suggestions, and we hope to see you out on the Trail again sometime soon! More

We went up to Lake Seneca to enjoy our anniversary for a week. We biked, visiting wineries on a bicycle, and met so many lovely people at the wineries. The wine tasting is great, the fee per tasting is reasonable and you can't go wrong with the ones they have to offer

Fantastic wineries of many different prices and comfort levels. Some are obviously courting a higher end business with prices to match, but the majority are wallet friendly and nearly all have something to offer. The region is best known for Rieslings, but all types are found and are quite delicious.

The wine trails on Seneca Lake are Beautiful in the Summer and Fall months. If you are a wine lover I strongly urge you to bring a designated driver or have your family and friends go in on a limo. Too many wineries and a few distillery's so little time. Make the time to visit all of them.

We stopped at many wineries to taste. We purchased several bottles of wine as well, it is well worth the drive.

Stocking up on the wines you loved is always a great way to "revisit" the wineries once you get back home! Wine has a way of taking us back and helping us remember the place and time we first enjoyed it... Thanks for visiting, hope you'll be back on the Trail (to restock!) soon! More
