very nice cave

A nice cave with a very good guide. It's cold inside but that's very nice with 31 degrees outside. We loved the cave.

Guided tour worth every cent. Very informative. It's a long way down, all perfectly safe with walkways and hand rails, but you need to be reasonably fit, there are a lot of steps. Lots of photo opportunities. Absolutely wonderful!

A wonderful experience to learn about WA caves and be given a tour by very knowledgeable guides. A must do in the area especially on a rainy day.

Visited with an international friend. It had been many years since I had gone to the local caves and it was a nice surprise to visit jewel Cave near Augusta. The upgrades that have been done are great. We had a really nice barrista coffee while waiting. The guide was knowledgeable and even though he spoke softly could be heard... More

Exploring this cave on a guided tour was a treat. Its huge and has four chambers. Well worth the admission fee and the guides explain the geological formations and provide a history of the cave as you walk around. If you are in the area there are a number of caves we also visited Lake Cave which was good but... More

We were VERY excited about our visit to the jewel caves! We have visited all other caves in the region, such as the lake cave and mammoth cave. This was the last of them (save the best for last!) We took the karri walk trail with our children (18mths, 4yrs and 7yrs) which took around a half hour and is... More

Informative one hour guided tour of Jewel with light show to make the cave look like jewels. Good walkways but narrow at times. Surprisingly Nice temperature throughout so it was not as cold as we had anticipated. Some good photo opportunities but you will need a flash. Worth a visit if you haven't seen a cave before or if you... More

This is a gorgeous underground cave approximately 15 minute drive from Augusta. It is a guided tour with many steps along the exploration. There are also standing platforms to gather and take photos and listen to more of the interesting commentary. The cave is well lite to enhance the cave formations. At times it is like being in a fairy... More

I was hesitant to visit the cave but my husband really wanted too so I agreed. I am so glad that I did as it was just the most stunning cave I have seen. The formations were just amazing and the lighting enhanced them brilliantly. Our guide was fabulous and explained everything very well! There were lots of steps and... More
