Anyone who is thinking of doing this should do it. An incredible experience so close to our coast. The crew were amazing. As well as taking care of the standard things (food, cups of tea, etc) they were so generous with their knowledge and seemed genuinely as excited to see the orcas as we were! With multiple marine biologists in the crew this felt like more than just a sight seeing tour. Truly fascinating!

If I could give more stars then I would. Absolutely fantastic. Great crew on board Naturaliste charters, laid back and easy going. Their experience and knowledge of Orcas means you have the best team for the job and doesn't at all feel over commercialised like the other tour company looked with big fancy signs and loud speaker etc. I highly recommend Naturaliste charters for a more personal and knowledgeable expedition.

This is not for the faint hearted. The seas are rough and over half of us spent most the time being sick. I don’t usually get sick but took Kwells anyway but they did nothing against the fierce seas. However, the staff were amazing and really looked after us. From a customer service point I give this a 5 star, but unfortunately we weren’t well enough to see the whales as we had to lie down most the time.
If you don’t get seasick I definitely recommend this.

Visited for a long weekend but only one day to do the boat trip. The boat was fantastic with everything that you needed and great staff who were informative and pleasant catering for all our needs.
Sadly there was a 3 to 4 metre swell and very overcast with strong winds. Hence no sightings but the ticket is open and a return encouraged. Overall the trip was good for me, but others succumbed to sickness making the 8 hours a long day.
Recommended but do the weather forecast before travel.

Staff were great, very helpful. Food provided was delicious.
Was an incredibly rough day and a few people were incredibly sea sick (poor lady). We were out for over 6 hours and only a small shark was seen.
However, as we saw no orcas, we got a ticket to return anytime in 2 years from the date of original cruise.
So, we'll hopefully be back in February/March

It was all a bit too long and underwhelming I thought. The crew tried to make it interesting but an hour or so of just seeing a small pod of whales doing very little was probably enough for me. I thought a couple of the crew also seemed a bit jaded and snippy, particularly the skipper who was quite rude to my elderly father who was sleeping on one of the couches.

What a privilege to see Orcas in action at this hot spot out in the ocean off Bremer Bay. Superb experience, very well organised. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very friendly staff, not only the Marine Biologist and the intern, but the new deckhand, the skipper and the photographer. A long day with bus transport from Albany, but so worth it. Plenty of other marine life and birds.
Generous catering a bonus.

My husband and I had a great day and saw lots of Orcas. We were even lucky enough to witness a surge where the Orcas shared their kill with other pods of Orcas. The staff were amazing and so keen to share their vast knowledge of the Orcas. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so kind and caring to those who suffered seasickness. It was a wonderful way to spend the day and I highly recommend this tour.

We visited for a friends Birthday with 3 of us. The experience from boarding at the dock to end was amazing. The staff were all so friendly and kind, nothing was too much trouble for them. We had magic conditions for the day and saw several Orca. The information provided by the Marine Biologist on deck was informative and fascinating. This was a once in a lifetime tour and I would highly recommend.

Amazing trip, but be aware it could be a roller coaster ride out to the location, it is 40km and 90 minute ride offshore in open ocean. The crew are amazing and are there for you all the way. We saw Orcas, pilots whales, lots of birds, a blue whale and a seal, but as it is offshore on the edge of a deep under water canyon you could see just about anything on the right day. We managed to get the last trip of the season so make sure to book for next season. Definitely should be on you list to do in this part of the world, if coming from Albany use Big Blue Tours, Susan was amazing doing the two hour drive or stay in Bremer Bay and enjoy what it has to offer. Enjoy
