A few people, but mostly wild, crashing waves and vast rocky vistas. At the end of a 'washboard' unsurfaced road, and well worth the shuddering. Beautiful place.

The beach car park was full (lot of campers) so we went to the lookout which was very nice. There is a wooden platform you can sit on and just soak in the view. The platforms are actually for hand gliders etc.

Stopped off in Shelley Beach for lunch to break the car trip. It is just a great little place to relax and take in some fresh air. Worth the trip

Shelley Beach can be found in West Cape Howe National Park where Torbay Head is located, the most southerly point in Western Australia. When we visited, the water was the most beautiful turquoise blue colour, but clear to see through from the lookout above. A...More

30 minutes from Denmark and great views of the Southern Ocean. The lookouts required short walks and stairs from the free car parks. We were very lucky with the weather on a mild Autumn day. Great location for photography.

Easy 2 wheel drive access to the lookout and the beach. A fee is payable for entering the National Park and for camping. There are toilet facilities but not showers. The view from the lookout and the beach are beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful! Well worth the 5km drive down the dirt track to get to the beach. There were a few campers there and was secluded which was nice. Definitely worth a visit if down this way

It's a stunning place to visit. A bit of a bumpy unsealed road to get to the lookout and beach, but well worth the drive. Absolutely stunning beach - could of stayed all day listening to the waves. One of the best beaches in WA.

You can get there without a 4x4, just drive slow because the road is quite bumpy due to tractor tires
