This bay is in one of the most picturesque parts of w.a. The white sand and warm water make this the ideal place for families to swim.

CB is a great place to swim and especially good for young ones. When the wind blows from the South, it is well-protected and the go-to place for a swim.

Nice are and well protected for the kids to go wild. Kalbarri is a great tourist destination with some fantastic photo opportunities and excellent restaurants and cafe's for your enjoyment. Some of the best fish and chips North of Geraldton. Do not miss the Red Bluff area and the many areas of cliffs on the ocean front, Blues holes just... More

This beach is relatively safe and has decent facilities such as toilets, a place to shower and shaded areas. Across the road are cafes and other shops. You can do so many activities here from swimming, jumping off the jetty, fishing, or kayaking. Nice place for a picnic too. Being where the Murchinson River meets the sea the water can... More

This little bay is really lovely as it is so protected by the surrounding reefs. People kayak, snorkel, swim and laze around the beach here.

This sheltered beach is very nice for a swim on a hot day, however there are better, more lovely beaches further north

Well protected area for the kids to play or try fishing. A must if you are here with kids. Take a short stroll to the point and look out over the mouth of the river.

Chinaman's Beach is a sheltered beach which is great for kids due to its calmer water. The water is shallow and when the tide goes out, there are interesting rock pools to explore. Although fishing is not allowed on the beach/ swimming area, it is allowed off the rocks or a platform which has been built close by. This platform... More

Situated just as you entertown from the south, this is a great beach. Sheltered from the winds and with calm crystal clear water. We parked in the car park and took an easy stroll to the viewing platforms. Come late afternoon for the best quality of light for photography. The view of Kalbarri and the river mouth is wonderful, if... More
