Explore the ancient wonders of Ngilgi Cave! The Cave is warm in winter and cool in summer.

Ngilgi Cave is located just off Caves Road, a short distance north of Yallingup, beneath the limestone ridge which forms Cape Naturaliste.

The fascinating association with a rich Aboriginal legend describing the battle between a good spirit (Ngilgi) and an evil spirit (Wolgine) gives Ngilgi Cave its name.

Explore the cave and experience stunning stalactite, stalagmite, helictite and shawl formations. Visit an interpretive area detailing Ngilgi Cave's interesting history. A cafe, playground, barbecue facilities and walk trails make Ngilgi Cave a fun place to visit for the entire family.

We were lucky to go in on a quiet Monday and we almost had the caves entirely to ourselves! We went on an adventure tour which was excellent value, challenging and fun!! Afterwards we were free to explore all the major caves in our own time, we had a blast - the caves themselves are truly cavernous and interconnected, it... More

Very nice and well presented cave. Definitely worth a visit. It's massive and full of stalactites and stalagmites.

We chose to only visit one cave and it was outstanding. We were lucky that there were only 4 people in our time-slot so had plenty of time with the guide. It's also good that you are free to explore the caves unguided too so could really take time where we wanted to, but still get the interesting bits pointed... More

A visit is a must if you're in this area. The magnificant main areas are all well light with stairs & rails to take you 12 stories underground. The walk down is easy enough but you might need to take a break on the way up the 350 steps. Well worth a visit.

We chose this cave as it was closest to the Bunker Bay/ Yallingup area where we were staying. We did the self guided tour that costs $22.50. The tour itself took us about one hour in total. There is a tour guide to start you off who explains the chambers in the cave, but then you are left on your... More

This was a great experience for both my partner who completed the Ancient River Bed Adventure tour (hard core) and for me who did the Semi-Guided Show Cave tour (for wimps). It's really not suitable for claustrophobic people or anyone suffering similar anxiety because no matter how well they've organised it, lit certain areas, added hand rails and provided rest... More

Hi Sivitrii S, Thanks for taking the time to post. Great to hear you enjoyed the caving experience. That adventure tour is one of my favourites, it really takes you to some of the most beautiful parts of our wonderful cave system. The board walked section is great also. Thanks for your patience regarding tour times. Often the cruise ship... More

This is a partially guided tour. We had Dominique who was amazing and passionate. Very informative and funny too. Bookings are essential during the busy season. You can buy a dave pass for 2, 3 or all 4 caves. We did all 4 - all great....do them over a few days though....

I was a bit apprehensive about caves as I am a bit claustrophobic, however these caves have a boardwalk throughout and only a couple of places where you have to bend your head. Friendly and helpful staff, we spent ages at the bottom of the caves listening to a very knowledgeable lady talk about the caves and pass around different... More
