Been to this park several times. Looked online to see what the entry fee was and it shows half price concession for OAP's When we arrived we were then told it was 12 dollars not 6 as this concession is only for Australians! Did not say this on their website. Obviously visitors from abroad are not worthy of any concessions.... More

This is a wonderful national park with lot of Aussie's icons - Kangaroo and Koala ! The Yanchep Inn offers accommodations and food which is out of our expectation. The campground oval was renovated last year. The grass land for tent setup is bit sandy, obviously they need more water to maintain the grass. However, the camping area is nice.... More

When we come to WA, we always visit Yanchep national park because it's a wonderful place, great views, great walks and a cave. Also 100s of kangaroos appear in the afternoon! The birdlife is amazing, huge flocks of White Tailed Black Cockatoos, Galahs, king parrots and rainbow lorikeets, as well as wetland birds. It also has a great pub on-site,... More

This Park is easily accessed from Perth. The coast road north goes past it. Well worth a visit, lovely walking trails, lake, wildlife and Koala sanctuary. Plenty parking, picnic areas and a restaurant/bar/shop/information. Tours are available, also some caves. There is a camp site, pre booking for the site is required.

I go here almost every day to walk the trails and it is always an enjoyable experience no matter when I go. Plenty of barbecues and picnic tables free to use and always plenty of wildlife around to see. All the staff are friendly and helpful and accomodations are available at the Yanchep Inn or at the new campsites made... More

This in just on the Northern suburbs of Perth. With the road system so good it is easy to reach. We took a picnic, but with barbecue facilities available we would do that next time. We were in Australia for 4 weeks, and this was a highlight. Kangaroos living in their natural habitat, a Koala sanctuary with the Koalas visible... More
