We came across on the Ferry from Hahei to meet up with our tour guide at 2 pm. It was just us and another couple. We set off in our light dingy. We're were informed about the historical significance of the area, such as the stone dock at Ferry landing. Captain Cook landing at Cook's Beach claiming it as English... More

This is the most picturesque location you could ever imagine. The journey from Auckland airport is long, about three hours. The final part of the journey is across the mountain region and sometimes very difficult driving with many bends, ascents and descents across the mountain area. The views are spectacular and there are very many points with which to stop... More

Whitianga us a great location for exploring the Coromandel Peninsula. There are a number of boat trip options - we chose Sea Cave Adventures. Quite a bumpy day, sea conditions, but the boat with only one other couple was handled really well. Great sights and great snorkelling made for a great day out.....

We booked at the last minute and as we were the only booking at the time the owner Les was extremely accommodating about the time we left. His commentary was extremely informative and when not "on script" was great fun to talk to. The sights of this area of the Coromandel Peninsula are the best and a must to see... More

Everyone who comes here must do this trip. Skipper Les was very knowledgeable and talked us through the seascape. He made his commentary funny and witty and kept us all entertained. The area is beautiful and our trip was made extra special by the playful dolphins that came around the boat. Lots of photo opportunities. Beautiful weather although a little... More

Many thanks to Les for the fantastic trip, amazing landscape and so much to see. Les was very knowledgeable on the surroundings, and we highly recommend this trip. Glad you had plenty of blankets as it was pretty cold on the way back into shore.. :) Cheers Marina & Gary (Hamilton)

Owner/operator Les assured us we wouldn't get wet. Unexpected swell came up and we smashed into it. My front seat copped the spray. Everyone else stayed dry! Good for a laugh. Informative and scenic tour. Sure beats the steep descent and climb to see Cathedral Cove on foot!!

Thanks Les. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip today. The scenery was amazing as were your boating skills. It was exciting and fun! Felt safe in rough conditions. Well worth the time and money spent.

Dan is a fantastic bloke. He is passionate, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the whole coastline not just Cathedral Cove which seems to catch everyone's imagination but you will see much much more on this trip. We saw lots of snapper in the marine reserve The weather wasn't too good on the day we went out, Friday 17 Feb, but we... More

Dan is a fantastic guide. We went to the best places and not only the places that everyone goes to. It was informative , saw some beautiful scenery and most importantly had a lot of fun. We highly recommend you use Whitianga Adventures for a great couple of hours whilst in Whitianga.
