We came here with our 2 boys aged 12 and 16 as they wanted to do some downhill biking. The staff were really knoweledgeable and helpful. They helped us with choosing the hire bikes and gear (all included in price) and then Marcella spent the day shuttling us up to the area where the easier runs were. She was so... More

The trails were well maintained, the bikes were well kept (I rented), the staff was extremely nice and helpful, and overall it was a great time. I highly recommend putting this on your list when visiting lake placid.

Terrain is pretty intense in the upper mountain, but you get a nice break once you hit the lower mountain. The new shuttle service to the top of facelift has been key!

Not your cross country riding, this is downhill, fast, technical, challenging riding. The staff outfits and gives great advice with the bus giving increasing challenging rides in a escalation to increase your confidence and prepare you for the next challenge. The trails can be gentle to bone shaking (threatening) rides. If you ride within your skill, want to increase your... More

I did not think I would enjoy this - I was mistaken. I arrived at Whiteface Mountain Bike Park with neighborhood biking experience and thinking I had no business venturing onto this mountainous terrain. But I'm becoming more adventurous in my mid-life and made the decision to try it. Downhill Mike, owner/operator/overall great guy, gave us (me, my husband and... More
