Visited with my wife to go for a hike. The trails are well marked and maintained. The views of the lake are magnicent. Swimming wasn't open but we did enjoy walking along the waterfront.

This park is small by comparison to other state parks, but it has a uniqueness all unto its own. I'm partial due to the fact I live near the park. The shelters are large and can be rented, including an indoor facility for parties or...More

Lake Ontario is riddled with rocky beaches, this one has a decent amount of sand for its location but if you plan on swimming make sure you take shoes to wear into the water. The park staff does a great job caring for the grounds...More

I went in the off season when the park is "closed"-so no fees, but the view of the lake is nice. Don't expect the whole beach vibes because this park is not like a beach. There is barely any sand and it all just rocks....More

We recently camped at the nearby Four Mile Creek Campground and were advised to come here to go the beach. The poor beach has been annihilated by the rising of Lake Ontario. According the to the life guard on duty the beach used to be...More

This is my favorite place to wal in Wilson. You can choose to walk along the shoreline of Lake Ontario, or head off to one of the four trails available. Great way to spend an afternoon getting your exercise, and birdwatchers like it too!

Having grown up on Lake Erie, a recent trip to the Youngstown NY area had me looking for a place for our son to swim for an afternoon. I should have researched better as 1. it cost $7 to even drive in and 2. The...More
