We drove 44 55 through the Shawangunk Mountains, stopping to hike at Minnewaska State Park. The drive was windy but relaxing. Great views with lots of pull over areas to get out and stretch and take pics.

A must visit for outdoor enthusiasts. Awesome hiking, mountain biking and my favorite rock climbing. An abundance of unspoiled naturally beautiful woods, cafes and cool antique shops. Lots of fun!

We have been there twice so far, it is nice place to visit year round. In summer the fall and pond is great place to cool down. In winter it would be perfect skiing spot.
