Had a great time! Several tasting options for different palettes. I don't think all the grapes are grown there, but wine is pretty good. The service was great. Definitely worth the view and experience!

Just a really cool winery and tourist/local visit. We went twice. Sat creekside once, then near the outdoor music venue. Quite nice wines of most tastes. Very nice staff. Several local resorts have discount coupons for the winery.

We stopped by Grandfather Mountain Vineyards and Winery and enjoyed a glass of wine sitting in chairs by the river. It was a lovely, warm fall afternoon, and it was a relaxing way to spend some down time.

Dropped in for some tasting of some new grapes. After our sampling, we bought a bottle for enjoyment while sitting on the porch. Beautiful day out. I would suggest that the sample pours at the tasting be increased - not much given. Pleasant staff. Nice...More

The winery was nice but not my favorite. The wines were okay, not great but not terrible either. They did have a selection of cheese and some other items in a fridge you could buy. I was disappointed they didn't have food to offer-I enjoy...More

Nice little vineyard on the banks of the Watauga River. Wine tastings. Get a glass or a bottle and sit by the river. Nice band music on Sunday afternoon. Attracted a large crowd. Friendly owners. Good wines, too.

We stop every time we're in the area. Have a wine tasting or just buy a bottle, then go sit by the stream in one of the chairs provided and enjoy life. Bring a snack if you'd like.

They do have wine club members, and you are required to buy two cases (three bottles) a year. You get free tastings.
