The gem mining was ok. Everyone had fun. But, the staff was only helpful when necessary. They did not go out of their way to assist you and were not exceptionally knowledgeable.

We loved this activity-we got the 2 gallon bucket for $32 and 3 of us enjoyed sifting through the sand for local gems. We found rubies, emeralds, petrified wood, labradorite, tigers eye...and so many more!

We bought a small bucket to mine & we ended up with approximately half of a ziplock sandwich bag full of potential gems. Fun location inside old rail cart! Nice staff!

So, I've been to a few other gem mines in the area and we wanted to check this one out. We decided the night before we wanted to go to this one. We've always been able to just walk in when they first open without...More

The first thing i will say is that the customer service was sub par, not as warm and welcoming as Foggy Gem Mining, however they did have a warm cool looking train that you can sit in while scavenging thru the rocks, we barely found...More
