We enjoyed this walking tour. While we didn't see any ghosts we did learn some great history. It was a beautiful evening to be out walking through town and nice to have the guided tour. Our guide did a good job and I get the sense that they customize their tour depending on your group. You get into it what... More

The tour was wonderful, the tour guide was funny, and the ghosts were active 😊 in front of the old Stewart house (unable to remember the names of the previous owners) while the tour guide was speaking my hair was pulled, just enough to hurt a smidge. Wonderful experience will recommend to anyone.

Not a very scary tour but a lot of informations abut the history of the place, were legends and myths get mixed with real past local people life. Also a great value for the money, only 15$ for about 75 min. And we shouldn't forget our guide who has a real natural talent as a story teller.

Initially, I wasn't so sure about this tour. The beginning of the tour was along the water front and it was windy, making it a little hard to follow the stories, because the guide was faking an accent and was hard to hear, but once we turned off the water front it was very interesting. I've lived an hour from... More

If you are into detailed history stories, then this is for you. The tour was nice and for the price we paid, it was well worth the money. It is a walking tour, at least and hour, so prepare for that ( bathroom breaks, comfy shoes, bug spray, etc). It is a family friendly event. There were two places we... More

This wasn't the scariest tour I've been on, so it is good for kids, and it is historically informative and near a great pub for the adults.

If you love good stories or even just looking at gorgeous houses, then I would recommend this tour. A "pirate guide" takes you around Beaufort (on foot and at a leisurely pace) to tell you about the spooky tales of the historical homes. Being both a fan of the paranormal and a history buff, I personally enjoyed the tour (though... More

Plusses. Nice walk through Beaufort. Beautiful homes, neighborhoods, etc. Our guide (we were on the 8:00PM tour, he looked like Steve Martin) was really good. Great accent (although sometimes hard to understand what he was saying), very interesting and entertaining. I liked the stories about Blackbeard the most of course, as that is what Beaufort is all about. Minuses. Not... More

After some digging to find things to do while my sister was visiting from California, I came across the add for Beaufort Ghost Walk, so i booked it for my sister, my husband, our three year old and myself. We had a blast. WE learned stuff about things we didn't know about Beaufort and different stories. The guide was amazing.He... More
