Especially the orchid exhibition! But the grounds have lots to offer as well. Lots of room to roam, see the flowers in bloom and the fountains. And don't forget to notice the art pieces scattered throughout. Obviously it changes from season to season. I can't wait to go back when the crepe myrtle is in bloom.

Visited this place for a possible wedding venue. Immediately the guide asked what month and year to which we answered october, 2018. Oh dear the guide said. Many days and weekends are always booked in October as standing events. However we should speak to the event person to be sure. Ok, bummed already. If you can't speak to it, don't... More

We visited the gardens for the floral and also for exercise. There is a large variety of plants blooming at different times which means something is in bloom all season. After walking through the gardens we extended our walk through the woods then back through the gardens. We spent 2 hours total which included looking at their gift shop. You... More

The garden is located in Belmont which is accessible by car from Charlotte. Tour the trails that lead you to water fountains surrounded with colorful flowers and ornamental flowers. A haven for flower lovers and photographers especially the orchids.

I've been to the gardens during the Spring and was able to see an amazing array of blooms. Today was my 2nd trip and unfortunately I missed the Spring display and too early for the Summer blooms. Yet, still not discouraged the gardens are still beautiful showing off blooms of every color & size. There's a fragrance coming from somewhere,... More

We visited the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens for the first time in almost 5 years since our daughter got married there. It is as beautiful as I remembered and I was amazed with the new children's garden, The Lost Hollow. What a delightful area to spark any child's imagination. It certainly has the wow factor. These gardens have a joy... More

My wife and I visited the gardens with family on the weekend and it was enjoyable. There were a suprisingly a wide variety of different flowers, shrubs, and trees. The grounds were nicely kept and the abundant water fountains were always cool to see. We especially enjoyed the water fountains that arced over the walkway and allowed you to walk... More

A gorgeous meandering botanical garden, with much more in the works. We were a bit early in the season, so not everything was blooming yet. However, it was a very peaceful, uncrowded, pleasant place to visit. The fountains and sculpture art are not to be missed! There is a lovely gift shop with so many fantastic and unique items; as...
