If you are looking for excellence in jewelry, pottery, woodworking, glass or other fine crafts you have to stop here. The breathtaking views from the Blue Ridge Parkway are an added bonus.

A great location for local plays and presentations! Saw "Eleanor's Story" here and the accommodations were very quaint and professional.

The art gallery is always interesting but the Spring time "Art in Bloom" always stands out when floral artists make magic reproductions of artwork on display. This is accompanied by a Tour of Gardens on the weekend which is always fun.

It's possible to catch some genuinely good shows here, from local visual artists to local drama. I've even been there for a benefit/dance party. The staff has always been "on" with friendly efficiency and old fashioned hospitality.
